Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Risk expert to join our Risk Management team. This role is ideal for professionals with approximately 3-4 years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) risk or actuarial fields. The Risk expert will report to CRO
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor capital adequacy and solvency ratios and contribute to stress testing and scenario analysis.
- Participate in SII calculations and reporting; contribute to the preparation of risk-related regulatory reports including ORSA, RSR, and SFCR.
- Support the Risk Management Function in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risks across the company.
- Analyze technical provisions, underwriting risks, and claims development.
- Collaborate with actuarial, underwriting, and finance departments to ensure consistent risk information across functions.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of risk policies and risk appetite frameworks.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Insurance science or a related field.
- Approximately 3-4 years of experience in risk management or actuarial department in the insurance sector.
- Strong understanding of the Solvency II framework and its practical application.
- Experience with P&C insurance products and associated risks.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a dynamic environment.
- Good communication skills in Greek and English (both written and verbal).
- Excellent knowledge of MsOffice
