IT Business Analyst

As part of our dynamic Business Analysis & Application Development Governance Team, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business units and software development teams, contributing to the success of our innovative insurance solutions.

Your day-to-day

• Business Needs Clarification: Support multiple business functions in defining and clarifying their needs, transforming them into functional requirements.
• Operational Process Design: Design new processes or enhance existing ones to align with business objectives.
• Specification Development: Create comprehensive functional and non-functional specifications to guide technical analysis by the development team.
• Process and Data Flow Design: Develop processes and data flows for new requests, identifying interdependencies and synergies across organizational units.
• Development Team Support: Assist the development team in understanding business needs for clear solution purposes.
• Testing Coordination: Coordinate testing activities and provide support to business owners during acceptance tests.

What we are looking for

• Educational Background: Strong academic background in Computer Science or a related technical field, with a sufficient technical background to objectively analyze project requirements.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a business analysis role, with a solid understanding of project and development life cycles.
• Skills: Ability to thrive under time constraints, demonstrating critical and analytical thinking, excellent problem-solving abilities, and advanced organizational and time-management skills.
• Team Focus: Strong focus on cooperation and effective coordination across all levels and functions.
• Communication: Advanced communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Preferred: IIBA certifications, SAP and insurance experience
