About the Opportunity
Ydrogios Insurance is strengthening its Marketing function to further enhance market competitiveness, customer focus, and product effectiveness. As part of this evolution, we are opening a career opportunity for the role of Senior Market and Customer Lead.
This is a pivotal, high-impact role where you will lead the go-to-market and product development lifecycle. Acting as the primary driver who moves initiatives from ideation to launch. You will actively align and collaborate with Technical/Actuarial, Sales, and IT teams. Your goal is to facilitate key decisions and ensure we launch innovative, highly competitive P&C insurance solutions tailored to market demands.
What You Will Do
- Lead the end-to-end product development process and go-to-market strategy, drastically improving the Time-to-Market of our offerings while ensuring strong commercial viability.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with industry regulations, driving the Product Oversight and Governance (POG/POC) processes and adhering to the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) standards from ideation to launch.
- Design, implement, and orchestrate targeted cross-selling and up-selling initiatives to actively monetize the customer lifecycle and maximize Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV).
- Establish robust performance KPIs and measure the Return on Investment (ROI) of all customer development and product marketing actions, applying data-driven insights to pivot strategies when necessary.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and portfolio performance to support product and commercial decisions.
- Perform competitive benchmarking (coverages, pricing logic, commissions, product features).
- Develop reports, business cases, and presentations using advanced Excel and financial modeling.
- Coordinate with external vendors (agencies, events, printing) for selected marketing initiatives.
Who We Are Looking For
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
Experience
- 6–10 years of experiencein the Insurance sector, or within Top-Tier Strategic/Management Consulting preferably in:
- Insurance Product Development
- Technical Underwriting
- Market Strategy / Consulting
- Portfolio or Commercial Analysis roles
- Customer lifecycle management
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of P&C insurance products and technical structures.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills (Excel, financial modeling).
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics in a clear, commercial manner.
- Experience in competitor analysis and benchmarking.
- Deep, hands-on understanding of the insurance regulatory landscape, specifically mastering IDD and POC/POG frameworks
- Ability to coordinate external suppliers.
- Proven track record of cross-functional leadership, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders (Actuarial, Sales, IT) without direct reporting lines.
Language Requirements
- Good level of spoken and written English is required, as the role reports directly to a non‑Greek speaking Director and involves frequent communication and reporting in English.
