About the role

The Product Manager_Magenta Insurance is responsible for driving the development, launch, and continuous optimization of the insurance product portfolio. The role combines product strategy, commercial performance, customer experience, and cross-functional project management to deliver innovative, customer-centric insurance solutions that support the company’s growth and digital transformation objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and business case development to launch, monitoring, and continuous optimization.
  • Analyze customer needs, market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify new business opportunities and product enhancements.
  • Monitor product performance through commercial and operational KPIs, including revenue, profitability, conversion, retention, cancellation, and portfolio performance.
  • Develop business cases by assessing commercial opportunities, financial impact, operational requirements, and associated risks.
  • Define product requirements and collaborate with Agile squads and cross-functional teams to deliver new products and product enhancements.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), service assurance activities, and product launch readiness to ensure successful implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with Technology, Marketing, Brand, Commercial, Customer Care, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless product delivery and customer experience.
  • Lead cross-functional projects involving internal stakeholders, insurance providers, and external partners, ensuring alignment, transparency, and timely execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies, supporting commercial partnerships and onboarding of new providers.
  • Contribute to go-to-market initiatives by providing product expertise, market insights, and commercial recommendations.
  • Promote a digital-first customer experience by ensuring insurance products and customer journeys are fully supported across digital channels.
  • Prepare performance reports and communicate product progress, business impact, risks, and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Required Education & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Insurance, or another relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Insurance Product Management.
  • Good understanding of insurance products, pricing principles, portfolio management, customer needs, market trends, and insurance regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret commercial, operational, financial, and customer data and transform insights into business actions.
  • Experience in business case development and product performance analysis.
  • Good understanding of Product P&L management and key commercial performance indicators.
  • Experience defining business requirements, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and participating in product implementation activities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the insurance industry.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional product teams.
  • Knowledge of digital product development and customer journey optimization.
  • Experience managing external partnerships and vendor relationships.
  • Understanding of insurance regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Project management experience delivering cross-functional initiatives.
