About The Role
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be part of our Finance Department and responsible for providing comprehensive actuarial and financial analysis to support the Financial Controlling and Budgeting department. This role involves the development and implementation of actuarial reporting and forecasting, working closely with various departments to ensure alignment with the company’s key financial KPIs and business objectives.
Major Accountabilities
- Prepare and analyze financial projections to support planning and budgeting processes.
- Utilize tools to analyze the company’s forecast per valuation model under the IFRS 17 framework.
- Establish, oversee and update the company’s rolling budget.
- Analyze financial data to provide insights into the company’s performance under IFRS 17 and Solvency II frameworks.
- Prepare financial performance reports for stakeholders.
- Support cross-functional projects to improve financial processes and outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the financial controlling and budgeting functions.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics or other related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience in relevant field.
- Professional actuarial qualification in progress or completed.
- Proven experience in financial modeling and data analysis.
- Knowledge of IFRS 17 and Solvency II frameworks.
- Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools (Excel, VBA, Power BI, etc.).
- Excellent use of the English language (oral & written).
- Analytical mind, strong organizational and time management skills, excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
