About The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be part of our Commercial & Customer Care Division and primarily responsible for acquiring and managing key corporate clients. This role is pivotal in driving sustainable growth in our Group Life Insurance portfolio by identifying new opportunities and deepening client engagement.

Major Accountabilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Group Life insurance market.
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate Group Life insurance accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to assess policy performance, renewal opportunities, and additional coverage needs.
  • Negotiate renewals, pricing, and contract terms in collaboration with underwriting teams.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with insurance brokers, intermediaries, and strategic partners.
  • Participate in networking events, conferences, and industry forums to promote the company’s Group Life products.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, renewal ratios, and persistency levels.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience as an Account Officer or experience in sales, preferably in the Insurance Industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Communication and negotiation skills with a client-first approach.
  • Strong business development and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent presentation abilities & strong proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Results-oriented with strong commercial awareness.

Work Environment

  • Office-based with regular client visits and business meetings.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
